Burlak is a Russian floating all-terrain vehicle with a 6 × 6 wheel formula on ultra-low pressure tires.
The entire internal volume is divided into three compartments: cabin, sleeping area and pantry.
Burlak is based on a frame-boat, in which the main components and assemblies are hidden.
Having the following dimensions - Length 7 380 mm, Width 2 900 mm, Height 3 200 mm - Burlak is a real off-road giant.
The body of the all-terrain vehicle is aluminum, with a wall thickness of 1 and 2 mm. From the inside, the body is insulated with isolon 30 mm thick.
Ground clearance 700-750 mm!!!
Everything is traditional in the cab: Hydrostatic steering.
A console with additional controls is made in the center: there is a centralized pumping control system for all wheels, transmission mode switches and heater control.
The glass is not just double, but is a double-glazed window that does not freeze through in any frost.
Just behind the double passenger seat is the galley!
A special place where you can cook lunch for the entire team of the all-terrain vehicle. A large gas stove is placed on the table, provisions are taken from lockers - they are under the seats, and water is obtained from ... snow.
The Burlak all-terrain vehicle has an installation for melting snow by supplying heat from the engine. This system allows you to get up to 30 liters of clean water suitable for drinking and cooking.
The corridor runs along the entire length of the all-terrain vehicle. Ceiling height 1850 mm.
There are 8 sleeping places in the all-terrain vehicle. And the number of passengers on board is up to 15 people.
The floor of the all-terrain vehicle is removable, if you open the panels, then we will get access to the all-terrain vehicle's transmission
Diesel engine - Cummins 2.8 ISF, 150 hp. The gearbox is mechanical, five-speed.
All units are, as it were, in a waterproofed boat, so they do not come into contact with mud, water and ice. The brakes are also in a closed boat - they are disc brakes.
The all-terrain vehicle has huge wheels of its own design, measuring 1700x750x32".
The displacement of each wheel is 1200 liters.
Naturally, an all-terrain vehicle with such a displacement floats.
Speed on the water, due to the rotation of the wheels, 3 km / h.
When installing the propeller on the power take-off shaft, it increases to 6 km / h.
The all-terrain vehicle develops a maximum speed of 80 km / h, and cruising is 50 km / h, which is quite good for an all-terrain vehicle.
On hard ground, the consumption is 30 liters per 100 km, and on off-road it reaches 6 liters per hour. Therefore, in addition to three regular tanks, with a total volume of 400 liters, you can install additional 320 liters.
The own weight of the all-terrain vehicle is 4 tons, when fully loaded it already weighs 7 tons, but the pressure on the ground is only 0.12 kgm / cm2.
