BMW E90 320d rough engine on idle and poor mpg
I have a BMW 320d E90 05/06 RHD ..my engine when idle is running rough on but this is not happening every time anyway, shaking and the RPM jump up and down for few seconds For anyone who has BMW Diesel engine on the car I think the issue is on the EGR Valve or solenoid or a split vacuum hose.
Car runs badly on mpg and feels sluggish on acceleration .. Don`t take this for granted as i still try to fix this issue..
i`ve chance allot of thigs on the car like :
Glow plugs and Relay
Both Thermostats
Cleaned injectors
Changed the rocker gasket
Cleaned the intake manifold and swirl flaps
Cleaned EGR Valve.
Whatever I changed till now did not work and the car still acts roughly on idle but not as bad as it was on the problem appeared.
i order a second-hand EGR Valve and as soon i will get it i will change it and see if this will work.
I will come back with updates ..
if anyone had the same issue or has any clue how can I fix it..please let me know.
I was on few garages but couldn`t find the problem ..no codes were thrown on the dash or inpa/ista..
