vSAN 8 ESA - Introducing the Adaptive RAID-5 mechanism!
In this demo, I give a brief overview of how the Adaptive RAID-5 mechanism works which was introduced in vSAN 8.0 ESA (Express Storage Architecture). Basically, the number of hosts available in your cluster determines the RAID configuration, 2+1 for clusters with 3-5 hosts and 4+1 for clusters with 6 hosts or more.
