In this video, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan explains different types of Arabic. The Arabic language can be divided into three categories: Street arabic, Fus'ha and Ancient arabic (lisan Al'arab). To obtain a detailed and accurate understanding of Quran, knowledge of ancient Arabic is recommended. Learning the Arabic of ancient Arabs also enables the learner to uderstand Fus'ha. Ustadh also explains briefly how language has gotten simpler as time has advanced through history. However, the details and nuances of Ancient languages always make them stand out from the same form of language in modern times. This is about a general rule for every language.
