Photoshop Layer Mask Explained - Tutorial
📌 What is Photoshop's Layer Mask and how do I use it? Find the answers in this tutorial.

Useful? Absolutely!
Photoshop's layer mask is a very useful tool that allows you to hide, reveal, and cut out parts of a layer reversibly. What does this mean? It means that if you're not happy with the changes you've made, you can always go back and change things without any problems.
With the layer mask, you can create image compositions, cut out objects for use in other documents, and limit changes to specific parts of a layer.
I've divided this tutorial on layer masks into two parts.
1️⃣ The first is more theoretical, in which I explain what Photoshop's layer mask is.
2️⃣ The second is dedicated to a practical exercise that we'll do together step by step.
This way, you can immediately put the concepts explained in the first part into practice and retain them firmly in your memory. We'll create mosaic graphics for a Facebook sponsored ad for the opening of a (hypothetical) ice cream shop in Milan.
