Restoring a pedal unit
A couple of years ago I took an old Crumar organ apart. I have used the keyboards for some of my synthesizer projects and I have also thought about making a pedal synthesizer using the pedals from that organ.
But they are not in very good shape so in this video I do some manual labour restoring the pedals.
The music is made entirely on the Elka X-1000 organ. I had the idea of imitating the sound of a sonar - the one you always hear in movies about submarines just before the enemy attacks. The way I did it was that I used the 4' percussion voice with maximum reverb and nothing else.
