In this Subsistence tutorial we'll upgrade a shotgun, which is the same way all weapons are upgraded in the game. All we need is a workbench, a shotgun, the materials to upgrade - the same material list for all weapon upgrades - gun parts, electrical components, rope, metal ingots, 650 power and 70 mass. We'll upgrade the firepower as I think this is the best bang for our buck.
