Within Elite Dangerous the Sol system, our solar system, is permit locked unless you, uh, have a Sol Permit. As an original Alpha Backer of the Kickstarter Campaign back in 2014 - I have that permit on my PC account. Yay.
In this series, cunningly entitled "The Sol Series" we take a look at the ins and outs of our solar system.

Despite being a High Metal Content World in game, we are unable to land on Venus, thus - we have to suffice with just gazing upon its timeless beauty.
There is a Tourist Beacon here though: The Gellan Scandal, which offers up some lore to the E:D Universe.
