I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect when I visited upstate SC for fall colors last year, but I ended up being beyond impressed 😍
Here are three great spots to see fall colors in SC (save for later!):
🍂 Paris Mountain State Park: This gem is only 20 minutes outside of downtown Greenville and is a must for seeing fall colors in SC! There are over 15 miles of trails ranging from relaxing nature walks to challenging day hikes. The fall colors along the Lake Placid Loop were spectacular.
🍂 Jones Gap State Park: With multiple waterfalls and 60+ miles of scenic hiking trails, this is another amazing location for fall colors in SC. The hike to Rainbow Falls is tough but so worth it! Make sure to stop by Caesars Head State Park as well if you’re in this area.
🍂 Downtown Greenville: Falls on the Reedy and the Swamp Rabbit Trail are great spots for fall foliage in the heart of downtown Greenville! You’ll also be surrounded by tons of cute shops and restaurants. I highly recommend The Village Grind for coffee and Passerelle Bistro for lunch.
