In Part 4 we delve into the world of databases as we explore PostgreSQL integration using next.jdbc. We will use TestContainers to write persistence tests, but also we will use Docker Compose to spin our Database for local development. As a final bit, we will wrap a HikariCP pool into a Clojure component and add database logic to one of the HTTP handlers and write a component test that involves a database query.
Join us on this coding journey as we build a robust Clojure application from the ground up. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting, there's something valuable here for everyone. Let's dive in and sharpen our Clojure skills together!
