Original Animatic ~Fairy Tale~
These are my original characters, they’re not from any existing works. The guy with the blue streak in his hair is named Corbin (he/him), the guy with the headband is Dawn (he/they), and the guy with the bun is Yoshida (Yo-yo).
For anyone who’s a little lost (this is my first animatic, and I kind of struggled with conveying the story), the general idea is that AI have been outlawed. People figured out how to digitally preserve the human mind and soul digitally- and they embodied these people with robotic husks. However, the existence of people and AI made with metal (which is a lot stronger than say, flesh) scared the populace. Hate crimes against cyborgs/AI turned into a full out war, which resulted in the outlawing of any technology resembling humans. Soon after, cloning scientists underwent a major breakthrough, and any cyborgs were able to be transferred into human bodies. A man named Haruto Yoshida (Yoyo), a man orphaned during the war, led the cause of AI deactivation. However, he decides to reprogram Corbin to serve him as the ultimate soldier. Corbin’s creator was the head of the Pro-Robot Rebellion, and he was designed to be the ultimate protector of his people. However, upon being reunited with Dawn, Corbin was able to override Yoyo’s coding.
I used Procreate to do the art, and I used IMovie to put together the animatic itself.
