Since requesting lessons at age six, Colin Fullerton has established himself as a classical guitarist of rarified sensitivity and dynamism. A winner of multiple competitions, his performances in solo and chamber settings have been heard across the United States and Europe. Competition highlights include recent first-prizes in the American String Teachers Association’s Senior Guitar Division, the East Carolina University Summer Guitar Festival College/Professional Division, and two second-place finishes in the Guitar Foundation of America’s International Young Guitarist Solo Competition. He’s active as both a teacher and performer in NYC, having played in such venues as Merkin Hall, National Sawdust, and Theater for the New City.
