Welcome to project #16 for J 3D: a complete refinement of "Take Me Home." 🏔️🌿
I revisited this earlier level design to push the atmospheric storytelling and technical fidelity using my current professional workflow. This environment serves as a study in "Contrast & Coexistence," blending a peaceful mountain cottage with the rugged remains of a crashed A400M transport plane.
Technical Refinements:
Lighting: Dynamic time-of-day system, transitioning from misty mornings to cinematic golden hours.
Foliage: Enhanced procedural foliage density and variety for a lush, lived-in valley.
Water Shaders: Refined river and waterfall shaders for realistic flow.
Asset Polish: Improved PBR material definitions on hard-surface models using Maya and Substance Painter.
📈 J 3D Mission: Upgrading my skills daily. This project demonstrates how a technical pipeline evolves through dedicated practice.
