Fix Fortnite Stuck on DX11, DX12 or Performance Mode (Rendering Mode Not Changing)
If Fortnite is stuck on DX11, DX12, or Performance Mode and the rendering mode will not change, do these fixes in order. Close Fortnite first. Open Epic Games Launcher, go to Library, click the three dots on Fortnite, open Options and make sure high resolution textures are not forcing extra installs, then click Manage and turn off any unwanted launch settings.
