London, 1913. Women are demanding the right to vote. Thousands of suffragettes of all classes serve time in Holloway Prison in their determination to gain equality through the vote. Their willingness to suffer for social injustice serves as the backdrop for an unlikely love story set in a period of turmoil. By exploring the hunger for political and personal emancipation Her Naked Skin plants a defiant feminist flag center stage.
