After almost a decade without a mainline entry in the series, Kite Games and Kalypso Media are bringing back one of the most iconic World War Two strategy franchises ever made. With over 300 authentic units, 25 missions across historical battlefields, three playable factions — Western Allies, Soviets, and the Axis — and a brand new commander system, Sudden Strike 5 is shaping up to be one of the biggest RTS releases in years. The game already had a playable demo during Steam Next Fest 2025, and the full release is planned for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
