Volvo 240 Timing Belt Broke when Driving VoTD Jan 19
Non-interference motors FTW! I'm so happy my valves didn't smush in the B230. Volvo redblocks are all Non-interference single camshaft engines (Sorry B234 16 valve head). 2 hours later I had everything back together and on the road again! My belt was soaked in oil, and compromised. thank heavens it was so close to our destination and we didn't need an expensive tow, and it was my day off, so I wasn't delayed for too much.
