Welcome to the YURT: Brown's Virtual Reality tool
The YURT is Brown's state of the art virtual reality theater and represents the culmination of nearly 20 years of virtual reality research. This advanced visualization environment is used by Brown faculty, researchers, and students to explore complex data, develop advanced 3D models, and create innovative immersive art. The YURT is managed by the Center for Computation and Visualization, part of Brown's Computing and Information Services department.
