Today, Eric Keselburg reviews one of the most impressive fan-designed LEGO sets ever released through the BrickLink Designer Program: the Sushi Restaurant.
If you're unfamiliar with the BrickLink Designer Program, it's LEGO's crowdfunding platform where fan-created designs are selected, funded by the community, and released as limited-edition official LEGO sets. The Sushi Restaurant is one of the standout builds in the series, and after building it, Eric believes it may be one of the best out-of-the-box LEGO building experiences he's ever had.
With 3,604 pieces, 14 minifigures, multiple animals, a working street tram, beautifully detailed interiors, and incredible Asian-inspired architecture, this set delivers an exceptional building experience from start to finish.
