Testing my MFM hard drive for use in my IBM 5160 XT and clone 286 computers.
Every few months I start them up to make sure everything still works.

The test machine is a clone 286 12MHz, 2MB memory, with a 16-bit MFM controller.

Native drives are
NEC D5146 40MB 1989 C: Drive
Mitsubishi MR 535-U00 40MB 1989 D: Drive

Priam ID62-AT-D2 71MB. Drive was faulty, but fixed some bad connections on the logic board.

Seagate ST-251 40MB 1991
I received this drive with the parts that I assembled my 286 build with.

NEC D5124 10MB July 1984
A month older than me

Mitsubishi MR 535-U00 Sept 1989 has a louder bearing than my other one used in the 286. The first MFM drive I ever got.

Seagate ST-412 Unknown date (could be 1984 to early 1985)
Original drive that came with my 1985 IBM 5160 XT before I upgraded it.
Power test only since it is set up for the IBM Xebec controller.
