Kangaroo Island is an incredible place to visit in Australia. The island is Australia’s second largest (after Tasmania) and is located close to Adelaide in the state of South Australia. A short car ride followed by a scenic ferry trip brings you to this wildlife paradise. There are lots of things to do on the island from diving and sand boarding to tasting local wines. Where Kangaroo Island really comes to life is its great nature and wildlife. The coastline is amazingly beautiful and wildlife such as Kangaroos, Wallabies (and even very shy Koalas) can be found everywhere.
