Black screen when connecting PS5 to Elgato? How To Disable HDCP!
The Elgato capture devices are great and can be used to capture gameplay from the latest next gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series! However, when I first connected my PS5 to either of my capture cards I would only get a black screen. This is because HDCP is enabled by default and needs to be turned off. A very simple process!
Also, a brief overview of the two Elgato devices I recommend for capturing next gen gameplay and which of the two I personally prefer.
