First, I meticulously examine every aspect of the paramotor, starting from the top and working my way down. From the frame to the net, harness, and non-motor components, nothing escapes scrutiny.
Before proceeding to the FSTICC check, a comprehensive examination of the motor is essential. I start from the top and work my way down, beginning with the airbox to ensure it's free of debris for optimal airflow and is not loose. Next, I inspect the ignition lead and spark plug connections to guarantee reliable ignition. Then, I check all bolts and nuts, ensuring they are securely tightened to prevent any potential issues during flight. Finally, I thoroughly examine the exhaust system for damage, cracks, or the need for repairs, ensuring it operates smoothly without leaks. After completing these motor-specific checks, I seamlessly transition into the FSTICC acronym inspection to cover all critical aspects before takeoff.
