How To: Resize a Photo for the Website
Every once in a while you wil have a problem with a photo being too large to upload to the website. To resize the photo, click on it and it will open in Preview. Once it is open, go to the top bar and choose "Tools" and then go down to resize and click. There, you will see the dimensions of the photo you will be resizing. Some photos, like the one shown are huge - bring the photo down to a normal size. (Think about it - normal photos are usually 4X6 in., 5X7 in., ect.) Once you resize it, CLICK SAVE. The photo will save and update in the same place on your desktop or wherever you opened it from. Drag it back into the featured image section and hopefully it will upload almost instantly! If the photo is still too big, continue to make it smaller until the website will allow you to upload! A.R.
