3D printing a tripod holder for your smartphone using FreeCAD
Using Droidcam, it's possible to use your smartphone as a webcam. So I wanted to be able to mount my smartphone on a tripod to record f.e. the 3D printer in our hackerspace while printing, or use it as a secondary webcam during my screencasts. So I created a case for my smartphone that would fit on a tripod. I'm explaining you how I did it and showing the steps I took in FreeCAD.
Don't hesitate to adapt the design to your own phone.
