Inside Pussy Riot illustrates the journey of this modern-day, post-punk feminist art collective. A true story of rejection of the orthodox Russian system and who are then concurrently penalised for doing so. Immersive theatre company, Les Enfants Terribles, collaborate with Pussy Riot founder Nadya Tolokonnikova to put the audience through the oppression the group suffered when first arrested for their infamous performance of ‘Punk Prayer - Mother of God, Chase Putin Away!’ at the altar of Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior. In this film, we have an exclusive interview with Nadya alongside shots of the experience itself.
