FREE VERSION of Cherry Audio Voltage Modular Synth and Ableton Live Techno test
While waiting for VCV Rack v2 and its VST wrapper I just met free version of Cherry Audio Voltage Modular that's called Nucleus. Well I also got some free modules from the store inside VST and it was surprise to met such things as HetrickCV and some Vult Modules for free! So I got around 50 total free modules and started making techno together with Ableton. Having midi on tracks is pretty nice because you don't even mess with the sequencers inside modular stuff, you can use it as a basic (advanced, yeah) synth. Of course it still has a lot of non-accessible possibilities as other available free VST around, for example mixing different CV voltages together, boolean logic, audiorate modulation...and of course learning modular if you're beginner! Still usability is fine, pretty differ from VCV but UI is good. Another good thing is having simple non-faders mixing just inside each input, up to 6 inputs available.
So if you're interesting in you can just expand possibilities of Voltage Modular with Ableton things...well, gonna show you how to do that a bit later. Cheers!
