Transporting Ore Instantly without Portals in Valheim
Sooo, you heard the news? You can't bring ore through portals in Valheim. Bummer, right? That makes mining journeys long and frustrating, aimirite? WRONG!
There's a work around that you can utilize so you don't need to worry about traveling ore back to your main base.
Here is a quick tip for getting around the portal restrictions for Ore without mods or cheats!
Next time you find yourself wanting to transport ore back to your main base just use this simple trick. First, create a second world for yourself and set up a chest or two somewhere safe.
Next, log back onto your main world (or World #1) and grab the ore/materials you want to transport. Log back onto your new world with those materials in your inventory and leave them in the chest of World #2.
Now back on World #1 portal back to your main base and log out. Grab the stuff from the chest on World #2 and log back into World #1. You’ve now just saved yourself loads of time transporting ores back to your main base.
This tip is especially helpful if you’re deep in the swamp hunting for iron and become encumbered!
