iOS 14 Quick Tip! - Widgets & Stacks!
Widgets are a new addition to iOS 14! Right now we have only Apple widgets but 3rd party ones are on the way. You have plenty of options including Calendar, Notes, Weather and more! You also have the ability to stack widgets without using too many on one home screen.
To add a widget:
-Get into wiggle mode by long pressing on your home screen OR hold down on an app and tap edit home screen
-Tap the + button at the top corner of your screen
-Tap on desired widget
-Choose the size
-Tap Add Widget
-Move the Widget to the desired location on your home screen
-Swipe up or press your Home Button to exit wiggle mode
To add a stack:
--Get into wiggle mode by long pressing on your home screen OR hold down on an app and tap edit home screen
-Hold on a widget and move it on top of another widget and release. You now have a stack!
-Swipe up or press your Home Button to exit wiggle mode
To edit the stack:
--Get into wiggle mode by long pressing on your home screen OR hold down on an app and tap edit home screen
-Long press the stack or double tap the stack
-Move the widget to the desired spot in the list
-Press X
--Swipe up or press your Home Button to exit wiggle mode
-You now have a custom stack!
