DYSTHANASIA Final — The Device, The Truth, and 396’s End
Welcome to the final part of Dysthanasia.
This one… is different.
It’s not your typical boss fight.
It’s not even something I’d really call a boss fight at all.
This is “The Device.”
And instead of fighting it, we’re trying to understand it, navigate it, and make it to where we need to go — all while everything around us feels like it’s falling apart.
This part made me think.
A lot.
More than any other part in this entire playthrough.
And even after reaching the end…
I’m still left with questions.
This is one of those games where the story runs deep — but to truly understand it, you’d have to go back, start over, and piece everything together again from the beginning.
And even then… some things might take time to fully settle.
Throughout this journey, I stayed on edge the entire time.
Every step mattered.
Every mistake had weight.
All I wanted was to get “396” to where she needed to go… safely.
But not every story ends the way we want it to.
I didn’t expect that ending.
Not like that.
But sometimes… that’s the price you have to pay.
There were moments in this game that were genuinely hard to watch.
Gruesome scenes that stick with you.
The kind that remind you just how unforgiving this world is if you make the wrong move.
And that’s what made Dysthanasia what it is.
A tense, psychological experience that keeps you locked in, thinking, and feeling every step of the way.
I went into this game with an open mind — no expectations — and let it present itself for what it truly is.
And it delivered.
Would I play it again?
I would have to…
But honestly?
I don’t really want to.
Some experiences are meant to be felt once.
And this was one of them.
