Repairing a SoundStandard CA9 Power Amplifier with a Damaged Protect, Over Clip on the Side
The Protect and Clip on this Soundstandard CA9 amplifier were damaged due to a dead/broken 100K resistor.
During the inspection, I was initially confused because it looked normal when I tested it while it was still mounted on the PCB. However, after removing one leg from the PCB, I discovered the damage. The inspection also took a long time because I had to check each component individually, both when installed and removed.
