In this video I teach you how to work the purl stitch using the English/American/Throwing method. This is usually the second stitch you learn when you just start knitting. I also share the importance of positioning the yarn before working both a knit and purl stitch to save you a headache in your first projects. Make sure you remember that to knit the yarn should be in the back of your work and to purl the yarn should be in the front of your work.
