This is day 231 of my daily SnowRunner Hard Mode Play-through.
In this episode, we manage to clean up the mess we had made yesterday on the breakable ice and managed to deliver the first load to the Gateway for the A Heap of Work contract in the Tayga. Whilst here, we nip down to find the fuel semi-trailer in the river (Bottoms Up task) and bring it back near to the future Fuel Station ... we don't deliver it just yet as I want to use the fuel first. We then return back to the NW Warehouse using the same short-cut, and this time don't have any trouble with the pesky crossing, and load up the remaining 4 x Wooden Planks and 2 x Service Spare Parts which will be needed to complete the cargo deliveries for the A Heap of Work contract, and this time head all the way around the icy main road, hitching up the Azov 73210 on the way, and continuing down past the town. The Azov 73210 picks up the little Don 71 we had left by the Island Bridge and carried it over to the town to deliver it to complete the At the Apex task, and then headed into the nearby Factory to find the Service Trailer needed for the A Heap of Work contract, and brought it (in convoy with the Tayga) along the Southern road towards the Gateway.
I am playing with the standard Snow Runner Hard Mode rules:
You have to pay for your fuel & repairs;
You have to pay for your vehicle deployment;
You have to pay for your vehicle recovery;
You have to pay every time you load cargo automatically;
You are not able to sell your trailers and semi-trailers;
You sell your trucks and equipment for half its price;
Contests are restricted in the number of tries you make;
You have to search for the facilities with the cargo that you need by yourself;
You are not able to skip forwards in time.
On top of these, I have also added the following rules:
No mods;
Only solo gameplay, no co-op / multiplayer;
Region must be 100% complete before starting the next region;
Regions must be executed in the standard Snow Runner sequence;
Only vehicles native to the region may be purchased/deployed in that region.
