Jimi Hendrix and the Big Muff – The Sound He Almost Had?!
Did Jimi Hendrix really play a Big Muff? In this video I explore the story behind the Electro-Harmonix Triangle Big Muff Fuzz Reissue – the legendary fuzz pedal that Mike Matthews claims Hendrix once owned.
We’ll dive into the myth, test the sound, and imagine how Hendrix riffs like Freedom, Stone Free or Purple Haze could have sounded with the Big Muff.
Electro-Harmonix Triangle Big Muff Fuzz Reissue: pure vintage fuzz tones, modern build. But could it have been part of Hendrix’s next album? Let’s find out.
