Ed Harcourt is an English singer-songwriter. To date, Ed has released ten studio albums, two EPs, and thirteen singles. His debut album, Here Be Monsters, was nominated for the 2001 Mercury Prize. Ed’s 2024 album, El Magnifico, is a banger, full of delicious melodies and intriguing lyrics.
Joe’s Pub is the intimate stage at The Public on Lafayette Street at Astor Place in the NoHo neighbourhood of Manhattan, once home to Andy Warhol and to the legendary CBGB music club.
After the show, Ed was gracious and charming, giving me and Mrs Geezer a nice hug. We saw him live in 2002 at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, and he has a special place in our hearts because his songs were the soundtrack to our early years of marriage.
