FM25 game engine in FM24?
So, basically I was playing my save at around 2AM EET, willing to go into the Club World Championship match against RB Leipzig.
As soon as I enter the match I notice that the camera is more zoomed in than what my regular camera settings are. The next odd thing that I notice is the slightly improved graphics of the game. Then the first goal is unusual, different gameplay than what I am used to, seemingly new animations as well.
At first I thought that I'm going crazy, then I played a few more matches and everything seemed to be just as it used to be.
I then proceed to rewatch the highlights and think about sharing them with the community.
I don't know how this could've slipped SI, has anyone else encountered this?
Could this be the new game engine for FM25? How was this even possible to happen in the first place?
Also I have to mention that I never left the game, there were no ongoing downloads, I was not asked to download any patch upon loading the game. And that it was not the first match of the day/night.
