Welcome to Video Marketing in 60 seconds. If you've ever wanted to create a green screen effect, I'm going to show you how to create a cheap green screen studio. The first thing that you'll need in your bootstrapped green screen setup is a green background. You could use a paper roll like I'm using here or a green wall or green fabric will work just fine.
The next thing you'll need are four shop lights that could be purchased at any hardware store, two shop lights will be on either side of the green screen to illuminate it. Once the lights are turned on, you can see that the green screen is nicely lit. The next thing that you'll need are two shop lights that will be placed like you see here, and they'll illuminate the subject that will be in front of the green screen. The reason you need the two front lights is because without them you're going to appear very dark on camera. With the lights illuminated, you look great on camera, and with some post processing you crop out the sides, you change the background, and you're good to go.
