How to get the BEST Nightsong & Shadowheart Outcomes & Choices in Baldur's Gate 3
There is a lot of bad in incomplete information about the most important decision and dialog in the game leading up to the Shadowheart and Nightsong confrontation in Act 2 of Baldur's Gate 3. We give you the secrets of the best outcome for your playthrough. For most people the outcomes are ranked from best to worst:
1. Shadowheart saves Nightsong
2. Shadowheart kills Nightsong and becomes a Dark Judiciar for the goddess Shar
3. Your party kills Shadowheart to decide Nightsong's fate
4. You don't let Shadowheart decide Nightsong's fate and she leaves your group
We talk about the weapon and armor rewards and the best and worst dialog choices. Choice 2 results in the best weapon and armor rewards with the Shar's Spear of the Evening and the Dark Judiciar Dark Plate. Choice 1 yields the less good Moonlight Glave spear only. Knowing the outcome you want is not the same as getting it. Indeed, to get the best outcome, you have to let Shadowheart decide Nightsong's fate without pressure. Actually saying nothing always leads to the best outcome.
