Dr. Rachel Lovano is a General Surgeon at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Delaware and attended medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She started her residency in General Surgery in New Jersey and completed it at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. She went on to a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at UT Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Lovano currently serves as the Chief of Surgery at Clinton Memorial Hospital, where she is also the Director of Robotic Surgery, and the Cancer Liaison Physician for the Commission on Cancer. She enjoys the diversity of general surgery, including reflux, colon and breast surgery.
