Rope Thimble Tutorial [ Shapr3D ]
This isnt an exact rope thimble, but you can always cut off the bottom and smooth out the top to have a mechanical piece. And while you could have simply swept the entire sketch across, you needed to have a path to follow anyways, therefore we did the outer parts first. So what I do here is show you how to make a thimble plus loop it around even at the bottom just in case so that I can cover multiple design functions in one video. Hope it helps ;)
