This cutscene takes place during the Nod Kai quest, where Lumine and Aether reunite and fight side by side. Aether wants the Moon Marrow and tells Lumine to go get it, but she refuses, knowing it would mean betraying her friends. She won’t take it for him, no matter what. After she refuses, they are suddenly separated again: Lumine is pulled away from her brother and thrown back into Nod Kai, screaming for him as he disappears.
