The basic arithmetic operations for real numbers are addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The basic arithmetic properties are the commutative, associative, and distributive properties. In this video, we will cover:
1. Operation on real number (rational and irrational)
2. Check whether 7 root 5 , 7 / root 5, Root 2 + 21, π − 2 , are irrational numbers or not.
3. Add 2 root 2 + 5 root 3 and root 2 - 3 root 3.
4. Multiply 6 root 5 by 2 root 5 .
5. Divide 8 root 15 by 2 root 3.

7. Rationalise the denominator of 1/ root 2.

10. Simplify each of the following expressions: (i) (3 + root 3) (2 + root 2) (ii) (3 + root 3) (3 - root 3) (iii) (root 5 + root 2)^2 (iv) (root 5 - root 2) (root 5 + root 2 )
