Ruby Gillman's Kraken scream sounds familiar....
If you listen closely, you can hear a very distinctive roar coming from the Kraken girl. It's known as "Sound Ideas, ANIMAL, CREATURE - LARGE ANIMAL ROAR 02", a notable sound effect used for various movie monsters, such as Sharptooth from The Land Before Time, The Great Animal from The Swan Princess, and the Gwythaints from The Black Cauldron.
It's also used for game characters such as Motaro from Mortal Kombat 3 and Obsidius from Godzilla Unleashed
Personally, I think it's kinda cool, and now I know what Kraken roars sound like from Ruby Gillman.
