I have never heard or played this game before so was very excited to play as I love the concept of the game.
This game is suitable from 8+yrs
Each game play can lastbupto 30mins
Requites at least 2 players
So first thing first you need 2 AAA batteries to play as it makes sounds and it’s the count down so very important for game play.
To play you need to have a pile of 13 cards. So you put the 13 cards into a pile and each player takes turns in picking a card up.
There are words on the cards and from the cards you have to creat a word.
The game is a word game so you have a die and you roll the die and depending on what you roll you have to pick up a card and make a word up.
So for example if you roll
Tick…. You can not use the word in the card at the start of the word
Tick…Tack the card letters can be used in anywhere in the word.
And the symbol may not be used at the end of the word…
Whilst your trying to think of the word the timer is ticking if you guess the word you pass it to the next person and when the timer💣 explodes you loose if your holding it.
The looser is given the card
To win you need to have the least amount of word cards.
This is such a fun and exciting game. It was so fast paced and the ticking sound adds to the pressure of finding a word! Finally when the bomb sound effects explodes it really adds to the disappointment of loosing the round.
I would agree that this game is suitable for ages 8+ as I even found it tricky trying to think of words. But you can easily adjust the game depending on the child. I didn’t use the cards and we practiced finding phonic words passing it back and forth. And my little one loved it and was laugh ring so much he couldn’t even get his words out!
I think the game is suitable for children and adults in my eyes and it really does get your brain ticking. We have laughed so much playing this game. It’s the perfect family / party game.
The only thing i would of liked is the exploding effect to be louder and maybe vibrate to give that more of an impact feeling of loosing.
But other than that we love this fast paced word game
Would 100% reccomend and can’t wait to play again.
