Episode #253 finds us continuing the journey to keep our hardware and software up to date, following the studio upgrade with a brand new Apple M1 Mac Mini. Today, we are seeing if the new machine is up to the task for handling the latest version Native Instrument’s most popular sampler Kontakt. We are going to load as many tracks as possible within Pro Tools and Logic to perform a stress test of some of my favorite libraries! It is now natively supported on Apple’s M1 ARM processors as of recording in late February 2022. In today’s short video, I show you how I play and record various libraries from drums to strings to pianos. This show aims to uncover the magic and demystify music production, Native Instruments REAKTOR, GUITAR RIG, KONTAKT, MASCHINE, PRO TOOLS, SOUNDTOYS, WAVES, and music production in general.
