Car alloy wheel tuner bolts M14x1.5 taper seat for use with aftermarket alloys.

This is a quick guide about fitting aftermarket multi fitment alloy wheels to your car.

These multi fitment or multi stud car wheels have 8 to 10 bolts holes so that they can fit more than one bolt pattern (PCD). To fit this many bolt holes the manufacturers have to make them narrower and therefore a standard Hex wheel bolt will not fit. You will need a Tuner bolt, such as that in this video.

You will see here that tuner bolts have a round head with a spline pattern cut out of it. A matching spline tool or key is used to torque up and undo the bolts.

In this guide we are showing an M14 x 1.5 thread bolt. This thread size is used with car makes such as Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen (VW), SEAT and Skoda. See a list of car models at the end of the description or if you do not know what fitment you need drop us a comment and we will answer you.

If the wheels you are fitting do not need a spacer then a standard thread length of 27 or 28mm will be fine, however as illustrated in this video, if you are adding a spacer you will need an extended thread length. In this case we have a 40mm long thread which will fit with 10-12mm spacers.

Here is a list of some of the car models which these M14x1.5 thread bolts will fit (this is not an exhustive list)
