Architects - Doomsday - Live Drum Cover - 2023 Wright Music School End of Year Concert
Every year @WrightMusicSchool hosts concerts that gives each student an opportunity to perform a piece in front of their family and friends. It’s also a great opportunity for the teachers to perform in front of their students as well.
The piece I performed this year was Doomsday by @wearearchitects. I was lucky enough to be asked by the band to play drums with them while they were on tour in Australia last year covering for their drummer Dan Searle who had family commitments at home. It was great to explain this opportunity to the students and parents, talk about the work and preparation that was involved leading up to the shows and then play a song from that tour 🤘🏻 Doomsday is one of Architects biggest songs and was also one of my favourites from those shows. Playing for them will be an experience I will never forget and it was great to share this with my school as well!
