The platform connects data and processes to speed up innovation, reduce R&D costs and support future growth at Titan LATAM. The ability to quickly create and manage a bill of materials and link it to ERP and shop-floor systems enabled a 15% improvement in product development time.

Brazil today feeds more than 1 billion people worldwide. This gives us a great responsibility to be focused exactly on the agricultural market and to provide solutions in an extremely agricultural country like ours, where more than 50% of our GDP is in agribusiness. Titan International has more than 100 years of history. We are the largest manufacturer and dealer of agricultural wheels and tires in the world. We produce more than 1 million tires per year. We needed to create a process for integrating our people, our technology system and our specifications system. It’s not just taking something off the shelf and implementing it, but a company that had the technical conditions to really understand our routine, our work and be able to work with us. The big challenge in choosing the platform was to be able to bring all the legacy systems that we had for 25 years, the whole history of the products manufactured by Titan in Brazil, and to absorb this whole system in addition to doing it with the factory in production. We had processes that were not part of our specification system. They were parallel, manual processes, used through spreadsheets. So, all this generated a lot of rework for the team and there was a lack of integration with the company's systems. So, these are the main challenges that we had for sure, but with the 𝟯𝗗EXPERIENCE platform, we were able to eliminate them and move on very successfully. The great impact 𝟯𝗗EXPERIENCE brought us in development was really the easiness and agility that the system provided to create the product itself, in the raw material part, the intermediate components and the finished product. So, this helps in our day-to-day routine, to actually develop more products, make more changes when necessary and keep improving our products even more quickly. Our historical parameters of processes had no revisions, and with the 𝟯𝗗EXPERIENCE, we have started to have these revisions and a better control of any changes of processes parameters, regardless the bill of material, as it was in the past. The tire development process – the time between the development and the product launch – is around 4 months. The 𝟯𝗗EXPERIENCE platform brought us a reduction of around 15%. We really had an excellent interaction in this process, where we were able to transform this whole idea of how to make this technical systems network within the company and we turned it into an action plan.
