Give Text a Chrome Effect
Although they do it slightly differently, Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer can make Artistic Text take on a Chrome Effect. In fact, with an addition of a hint of colour that Chrome Effect could look like Steel or Gold.
This is an adaptation of a written Photoshop tutorial. As it uses the Curve Tool and that is a hard thing (if not impossible) to pass on to people the settings used, each time you do this process the results will be different.
