Install Proxmox on Virtualbox and unlock VT-x / AMD-v on VirtualBox! Complete tutorial
In this video, I'll guide you through the process of installing Proxmox VE on VirtualBox. Having encountered some issues during my Windows installation, I'll take this opportunity to explain how to unlock the "Enable VT-x / AMD-v on VirtualBox" checkbox to allow you to install Proxmox on VirtualBox under Windows 10 or 11.
Why install Proxmox on Virtuablox? Simply to practice, run tests, create a virtual machine, etc., in short, to have fun without necessarily having the necessary hardware at home.

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
Disable Hyper-V completely
dism /online /disable-feature /featurename:microsoft-hyper-v-all
To unlock on the VirtualBox side
cd C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\
VBoxManage.exe modifyvm "Proxmox" --nested-hw-virt on
(Replace Proxmox with the name of the VM)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ DeviceGuard \ Scenarios \ HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity
Set to 0
